Gerritsen Barber Shop is great. Everyone is very nice, and Natalie (hairstylist), was very nice and attentive. I loved my haircut, and really appreciated that Natalie asked questions before and during to make sure I was happy. Highly recommend - and very high value for the price.

Amazing place for a kids or anyone haircut I have been going here for my son for more than a year now. The staff is professional friendly and very good at the services they provide. Both my daughters use them as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My complaint is not against the business as a whole, but only with Iryna, one of their stylists. On Sunday Nov 5th, she would not serve me, although I was the only client in there and the next appointment was an hour and a half away. Made appointment for next day, Monday Nov 6th, 5:30 pm. Iryna made me wait half an hour because she took another client. When my turn came, she asked another stylist to help her with my hair, without asking for my permission. She said she wanted to go home, and "do I want my hair done or not?". I had bleach in my hair already, so had no choice. I felt very uncomfortable having Iryna and that other woman touch my hair at the same time. I felt humiliated and disrespected and not wanted there. I am a paying customer. My question to the owner is: Natalya, do you know how Iryna behaves when you're not there? She lost you a good customer on Monday: me. I'm never coming back.Service: Hair coloring

Made appointment with Iryna. She was rude and disrespectful. Made me wait and when I protested she asked " do you want your hair done, or not?" Without my permission, she told another stylist (whom I thought was a customer because she had foil on her head, like for highlights), told her to help out with my roots. Asked what was happening and Iryna told me she wants to go home, so "do I want my hair done, or not?" . They had started with bleaching my roots, so I was stuck there. Trust me, the most uncomfortable 2 hours spent anywhere. On my money. I couldn't wait to leave. Not going back, ever.
