My boyfriend and I came here to get both of our tuxes for a wedding in Spain altered and they did an incredible job. Very thoughtful, detail oriented, and made sure we were happy with every adjustment. I was so happy with the work I brought a few more pants to get them altered.
Been going to George's 2 on 5th Ave for a couple years now. I pretty much never have to wait, they listen carefully to what I want, make suggestions if I ask for them, and then get to work delivering a great haircut, every time. All of the barbers are consistent and talented, and they have very low employee turnover. They don't quiz me about how my day is going or where I'm from or what I do, which I really appreciate. That's not to say they're unfriendly - I genuinely feel like a welcome and valued customer every time - it's just that they're focused on doing the work well and making sure everybody walks out satisfied. I recommend them to all my friends without reservation.
