We’re in Roslyn, Long Island and wanted something timeless and cozy warm, but not too yellow and nothing overly trendy. We chose the 7.5” European white oak in Sand, and it honestly came out even better than we imagined.
The color is soft, natural, and just really calming. It blends so beautifully with our walnut kitchen cabinets and makes the whole home feel more harmonious and pulled together. It’s clean and simple in the best way nothing loud, just quietly beautiful.
Working with Olesia was such a pleasure. She made everything easy, gave us honest guidance, and never once made it feel overwhelming or pushy.

We were searching for solid herringbone flooring with a very clean look and minimal imperfections, which turned out to be harder than we expected. When we approached Floorika in Park Slope, Olesia guided us through the options and suggested using unfinished flooring so we could achieve the exact finish we had in mind. Initially, we requested Select grade, but Olesia honestly explained that even Select can include minimal knots. After understanding the refined look we wanted, she recommended Select & Better instead and that advice made all the difference. I had a great experience working with Floorika. When we started the project, our floors were very uneven, and we knew that installing finished flooring properly would require serious leveling work. Their team did an outstanding job correcting the subfloor so we could move forward with confidence.
They guided me through the entire process from start to finish, explaining each step and making sure everything was done the right way. The office staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, always responsive and easy to work with.
