About Edith Hair World

Edith Hair World is a business located at 1701 Pitkin Ave, where customers can get their hair done by various stylists. Tanisha and Natalie are two stylists mentioned in reviews, with Tanisha praised for her ability to replicate hairstyles from pictures accurately and Natalie commended for her excellent service, efficiency, and making a customer's hair look amazing for their birthday. However, some customers have expressed concerns about unexpected high prices, such as paying $60 for a ponytail, even when they bring their own hair. It is recommended to arrive early for Tanisha's services as they are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The salon has talented stylists, but the professionalism needs work. I was there from 7:30am until nearly 2pm with no clear direction on who would do my sew-in. The stylist at the front on the first floor who does the sew in came in after 9AM, sent me to the beauty supply store multiple times after asking what additional things i need, and made unprofessional comments during my appointment and talked about me to another client at the end. The hair itself came out beautiful, but the experience was messy, disorganized, and lacked basic customer care. Great results, poor professionalism. It seems like no one really cares bc they know they will always have some form of clients...read full review

I got my hair done about 2 weeks again. It looked very nice. Unfortunately, the tracks weren't sewed in good. An there are treads hanging throughout the back of my hair. I quite sure that the treads shouldn't be hanging when you get your hair done. Sally also did my daughters hair. She has no hanging threads nor have any of her tracks come out. This morning I went to do my hair. There a half of track hanging from the side my head to halfway throughback of my head. . With the tread completely loose on the rest of the track. The row below that isn't even sewed across the whole track. This is very disappointing. Not done property..

i made sure to come in on a weekday so it wasn't too crowded-- the best idea i had, i was the first one there and i was tended to immediately. the lady who did my hair (melody/melodie iirc?) sure took her time--i was in the chair at around 8:30ish and left it at almost 3PM (mind you she didn't really take any breaks either) but i'm really happy with how the twists came out; not bad at all for $170. she worked well with the hair i brought her and i had no complaints other than the time it took lol. i'd certainly give this place another shot, maybe with a different hairstyle so it won't take the whole day again 😂
