They haven't updated their status yet. NYC is PHASE II on effect!!!My first here. My regular haunts were not quite ready for operations yet. And whereas I had been parked outside waiting for them to open I needed a "Plan C." D'Compadres was next on my short list. They're open, and staff and patrons are observing proper social distancing. Clientele only remove face coverings out of practical necessity ie. shaving and close contact grooming. I was very happy with the service I received. I forgot to get my barbers name, no matter I'll get it next time. Yes I will be going back when needed. Haircut & Shave only $20. I doubled it. Well worth... read full review
Great setup. The barbers care about their clients, and put great detail into their work that you can see someone's line up from 3 blocks away. Ask for Alvin. Highly recommended.
I got a haircut on June 27th 2020 with the barber on chair 7. I was a little hesitant since he had no customers waiting while people were waiting for other barbers. That said, he did an excellent job at cutting/shaping my hair and beard with minimal instruction. My hair on the top is thinning and at least half the fullness of the rest of my hair. He gave me a top notch cut and shape-up while blending the top of my head with the sides. He did not use any hair fibers or enhancements. You wouldn't be able to tell I had thinning hair after the haircut. The price was also very reasonable. I am black in case it matters to you.
