On crowded days, wait times are moderate, but there is no wait on less busy days. They also have a reward card point system where after the 6th visit, clients can choose between money off their next visit or a free deep conditioner. If spending $50 or more, clients receive a $5 off coupon for their next visit. Customers have received great results from services like wash and set, double process bleaching, and deep conditioning, with vibrant colors and no damage. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years since I was a teenager. They used to be down the block from here years ago. Carmen is still here. I go to her most of the time but I also have a few other vets who I’ll allow to do my hair. Carmen slayed my creative photoshoot hair, which I posted a picture of. (The Pepsi can photoshoot) I can’t speak for the newer stylists but the vets are everything. They are professional, knowledgeable and understanding of each client’s needs. I have gone for a wash and set several times with no disappointments but I wanted something different for a special occasion and decided to go with them. I asked for a double process, (bleaching), and two different colors, a trim, deep conditioning, wash and set and I received exactly that. The staff was personable while remaining professional and efficiently effective with the task. Plus I wasn’t there all day lol. Had a great experience with my services and it’s been almost a year, there was no breakage and the color stayed vibrant.
This was the best service I ever received from a Dominican salon. Went on thanksgiving morning and they were excellent. The shampoo lady was very thorough in washing and making sure my hair didn’t tangle. Her scalp massage was amazing too but she really helped detox my scalp and deep conditioned my hair. The blowout was painless. No yanks or burning. My hair was so shiny and straight. I loved the service and I let management know that and was grateful for a discount extended. Definitely will be going back.
