Hands down the best barbershop in NYC! It's so hard to find a barbershop that feels safe and welcoming for women and queer folks, and chaplains is that; it's a relaxing atmosphere. Sometimes I stop by just to check out the gorgeous plant collection! Chaplin’s is a true community staple in Brooklyn.

Awesome haircut! I just moved to the area and have been looking for a new barber. Katya was wonderful. She talked through my reference photo with me, listened to my feedback and goals, and ultimately gave me a great haircut. I'm super happy to have found my new barber in Fort Greene!

The super kind woman working today saved me. About two days ago I got the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten (at another shop) right before an upcoming job interview and was kinda panicking. I went in today last minute hoping for a miracle, and this lowkey looks incredible. She fixed me up and gave me written instructions for what to tell any barber to replicate what she did. I wish I asked her name to shout her out personally. 11/10 recommend.
