In a see of corporate vet chains, Brooklyn roots is an island of high quality pet care. We took our male cat to Brooklyn roots for a check up and second opinion. The team was welcoming, professional and didn’t try to upsell us on a million treatments or prescriptions like others do. They were on point and spent ample time walking us through the options. Our cat underwent dental surgery there and we couldn’t be happier. He’s doing so well now and the prices are realistic not overblown like other clinics. Recent new patient and fan. I brought my cat because her previous vet was starting to feel very corporate and she’s at the age where she needed a dental cleaning. Brooklyn Roots is a pleasant clean space with organized, professional and friendly staff. Vet care these days isn’t cheap, but I felt the prices were reasonable for what we did and I didn’t feel pressured to spend on extra procedures or tests. Glad to have a new reliable vet!

I had such a great experience with Brooklyn Roots! My cat had been needing a dental cleaning and extractions for some time, but I had put it off because of the cost and fear of her undergoing anesthesia. I met with Dr. Anderson for the consult and he eased my fears, gave me a quoted range of potential cost, and got my cat in quickly for the surgery. They called me right before she was about to go into surgery and right after to let me know everything went smoothly. Also, the cost ended up being even lower than the lowest price they’d quoted me! Very kind and caring vets—to both pets and the pet parents. Highly recommend.
