The saunas are really great and the room temp pool is nice. There is also a lot of room to sit and relax comfortably. However, there are cleanliness issues and there is no actual cold plunge here - just a little tub inside of a horizontal refrigerator. You can go to a different and better bathhouse in the city for a cheaper day pass than $60.

Hidden Gem in Brooklyn – A Sauna Sanctuary
I spent over four hours at Brooklyn Banya on my first visit, and I can confidently say this place is a gem. Tucked away in plain sight, I never expected such a beautifully designed, peaceful oasis to exist right here in Brooklyn. From the moment I walked in, both the staff and fellow guests were welcoming, warm, and respectful, which made the experience even more relaxing.
The space itself is deceptively large—spacious, artful, and full of thoughtful design touches. There’s a quiet, almost meditative vibe throughout the facility that lets you truly unwind. I won’t give too much away... read full review

Contrary to other reviewers, I found the owner to be very friendly. My issue is that this place is not maintained, to the point of safety issues. Next to the cold pool, a tile was cracked in half, fully exposed to the space below. A perfect setup to slice your foot open. And there was a tarp or something covering up something else covering up the floor nearby. The hot jacuzzi was not very hot.
