I’m a real banya girl who grew up here, so I really appreciate a no-frills banya experience. The staff here is really kind and gets you what you need. The kitchen was closed but they let you bring outside food. The tea was awesome. My only complaint is that there is no cold plunge. I believe no Banya is complete without one. They have the cold shower, but it’s not cold enough, and comes out like a sharp stream so it doesn’t hit your whole body. The pool is definitely not cold enough , and the last time I was here they had this .. deep freezer situation that they filled with cold water that’s supposed to be a cold plunge but that has no filtration.
