I returned to Element Beauty Lounge on 5th Avenue, Park Slope once the pandemic restrictions were lifted and here is what I found. Upon arrival your contactless temperature is taken. If there is no temperature, you then sign in name, time of arrival and temperature. I assume this is to help if contact tracing becomes necessary. There are two (2) pen bins: one for sterile and the other for used. Once you use the pen from the sterile bin it then goes into the used bin.
The manicure station has an acrylic barrier between you and the esthetician. The pedicure station has acrylic barriers separating spaces on the banquet. As always, the sanitation in this place is exemplary!! I have returned twice since the reopening.

As a self proclaimed picky person I have not found a more consistent, professional and clean nail salon. I usually like to make appointments but this is a service provider that takes care of me no appointment needed. No matter who I get when I come the experience is great and my nails last over 5 weeks. Keep up the Great work
Element has been my go-to salon for the last 6 years. It's always very clean, and I love how well decorated it is.
Ishu gives great gel manicures that last for weeks. She is so kind and always happy to give color recommendations.
It may not be the cheapest option in the neighborhood, but if you value cleanliness and consistently quality work, Element is the place to go.
