Bayridge Carpet is a family business that offers a personal, concierge service. They offered a quality product and perfect installation. I would not hesitate to recommend them for your flooring needs.

I’ve used Bay Ridge Carpet & Linoleum twice now and honestly can’t say enough good things. A few years ago they did the carpet in my brownstone hallway and did an absolutely amazing job, so when I needed someone for a 2,000 sq ft commercial tile floor, I went straight back to them.
From the very beginning they were super attentive, always returned my calls, and kept me completely in the loop the whole time. Their communication is honestly some of the best I’ve experienced with any contractor — I never once felt in the dark about what was happening.
The quality of the work is next level. They paid so much attention to detail, even putting down new plywood when they could’ve gotten away without it, and using state-of-the-art sealers on the seams before laying the tile. The finished floor looks incredible. If there were a training manual for how tile floors should be installed, these guys could write it.
And after all that, the price was fantastic. For the quality, professionalism, and care they put in, I honestly couldn’t believe the value I got.

The quality of installation of linoleum in basement looks absolutely beautiful and has completely transformed the entire space. Doug was extremely helpful in the store and when he measured.. Can’t recommend Bay Ridge Carpet and Linoleum enough! Worked with them on wall-to-wall carpet and an oddly shaped area rug - they were communicative, understanding, fair, knowledgeable and thoughtful. They even arrived EARLY for the consult and when they did the work. They moved heavy furniture in a safe and thoughtful way. Richie and the whole team were just great. I only wish I had more rooms to carpet so I could use them again!

We had a fantastic experience with Bay Ridge Carpet & Linoleum. We had them install a really beautiful marmoleum sheet in our newly renovated kitchen. They did a great job, it looks so good I almost don't want to step on it. They were communicative, professional, reasonably priced and punctual. He was even able to accommodate a shift in the installation date due to a conflict that arose for me. His team of installers are top notch. Incredible work, very responsive and professional! Doug came to my apartment and helped to go through options with his expertise, and the day of the work two men came and very quickly installed the carpet, it looks fantastic and they helped with options for finishing at the top of the stairs. Highly recommend if you're looking to have great work in a timely fashion at a good price.

This local small business never disappoints. When I called them, Richie understood quickly what we were aiming for, so he brought exactly the right kinds of samples & just enough selection to give us choices without overwhelming us; then he was very patient while we went back & forth between a couple of samples before making our choice. On installation day the guys arrived on time and did the job amazingly quickly. They were a pleasure to have in the house, even taking extra care to ensure the cats didn’t make a break for freedom while they were loading stuff in and out of the house. The old carpet was packed into trash bags and staged outside for garbage pickup; the new carpet looks fantastic. I’d call Bay Ridge Carpet again anytime.

I recently ordered carpet from Bay Ridge Carpet and Linoleum. It was a very easy process from choosing the carpet, having the room measured and the installation. The technologists that installed the carpet were efficient and skilled. They put binding on two area rugs on the premises. I highly recommend Richie and Bay Ridge Carpet and Linoleum.
