Barber Shop DA - Kid Friendly offers a great experience for children's haircuts. The staff is amazing, very nice, welcoming, and kind to all kids. Experienced barbers and stylists, like Dilshod and Shahlo, take time to listen and work with scissors without overcharging. The salon is designed for little ones, with a cute red car seat for sitting and TVs playing Tom and Jerry, nursery rhymes, and other fun content to keep children distracted. Even when a child is crying, fussy, or terrified of haircuts, the team manages to give a great haircut, leaving parents very pleased with the results. One 3-year-old loved her first haircut outside of home without tears, while a 7-year-old received a beautiful layered cut and curls after the stylist listened carefully. An 18-month-old hardly cried at all. The owner is also very kind. The receptionist is a nice lady. Customers are happy with the service and will definitely come back for multiple haircuts.
So happy I found this place. My 23 month old needed a haircut before an event the next day and they got us in super quick. He was really welcoming, and his barber was so patient and gentle with my not-so-cooperative little guy. I showed him an inspo photo and he gave me exactly what I wanted. He also fixed a bad cut from our previous barber and it came out so good. Really appreciate the kindness and patience, we’ll definitely be back.
We had a great experience at Barbershop DA in Sheepshead Bay! I took my 3- and 7-year-old daughters for haircuts, and the staff was amazing with both of them.
It was my 3-year-old’s first haircut outside of home, and she loved sitting in the cute red car seat while watching Tom and Jerry—no tears at all! My 7-year-old was very particular about her length, and the stylist really listened. She ended up with a beautiful layered cut and curls.
The owner was also there and very kind to all the kids. Highly recommend for children’s haircuts!
Dilshod is an experienced barber, who actually took time to listen to me, worked with scissors and didn’t overcharge. Receptionist is a nice lady too. I will be definitely coming back.
