Excellent service comes at a premium - but they take care of everything so well. No wait times, excellent follow-up, and the best treats! Our dog makes a beeline to their door when we are just walking by.

I came to Allison vets with an emergency for my dog's severe ear infection that had not been treated properly for over 4 weeks, and possibly over 7 years at Animal kind vets.

She arranged for my dog's emergency operation at a hospital that specializes in severe ear infections As a result of animal kind's neglect , in addition to milking me for repeated tests that they told me showed no infection!!! , my dog will LOSE her hearing from this infection and neglect.
At least my dog wont lose her life because of Allison vets.competance and compassionate intervention.

I come to Alison Animal Hospital specifically for Dr. Ryan — she’s an incredible veterinarian who truly cares about her patients. You can tell she has a genuine love for animals and rescue work, which I find so important in a vet. Her techs, Liana and Josh, have helped us on multiple visits and are always kind, professional, and amazing with our pets. I’m slowly transitioning from my previous vet, but I’ll be bringing all five of my cats here for their yearly visits and any other care they need. Highly recommend Dr. Ryan and her team!

Every person at the office was kind and knowledgeable- the staff and vet team took such great care of our cats. They took the time to go over their history and tailored the visit to each cat’s needs.

Today I took my 16-year-old dog, Polito, to Alison Animal Hospital, and I honestly cannot express how grateful I am for the care we received. From the very first moment, the experience was outstanding: the hospital is welcoming, clean, and beautifully kept, which immediately gave me peace of mind. At the front desk, the staff was kind and professional, and within just a couple of minutes, we were already being helped.

The assistant, Josh, was incredibly friendly and attentive. He listened carefully, reviewed Polito’s history, and made me feel completely at ease. Shortly after, Dr. Alexander came in, and that’s when I truly understood what makes this hospital so special.

I had originally gone in for a dental cleaning because I noticed tartar on Polito’s teeth. However, Dr. Alexander, with genuine empathy and great knowledge, explained that due to my dog’s age and the neck and back pain he was still experiencing, anesthesia would be too risky. Instead of simply performing the procedure for the sake of profit as happens so often elsewhere, he put Polito’s health first. He prescribed antibiotics, kindly explained how they work (even using a small whiteboard to make it clear), and asked me to return in a couple of weeks for a follow-up evaluation.

What impressed me the most was the honesty and compassion. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured into unnecessary treatments. On the contrary, Dr. Alexander and his team took their time to ensure I fully understood the situation and that Polito received only what was truly needed. That kind of dedication and integrity is rare to find.

I left the hospital feeling relieved, cared for, and truly thankful, knowing I had found a place where pets are treated with the same love and respect as family.

I highly recommend Alison Animal Hospital 100%. If you love your pet and want them to be treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern for their well-being, this is the place to go. My heartfelt thanks to Dr. Alexander, Josh, and the entire team for their outstanding service and compassion.

I don't recommend this practise for cats. Their approach does not even consider that an animal is frightened at the vet. I've only had one experience here, but their approach was extreme. My cat went for a first-time, routine exam. I was surprised when the (LOUD) female vet tech immediately reached for steel mittens to handle him before he was even out of his carrier - I'd never seen this before; they'd never even met him. They refused to give him shots or take blood unless he was sedated. Again, never seen this before. All while serious and lengthy and LOUD upselling of a dental clean (with general anaesthetic!) that he did not need (the female vet admitted this to me quietly later). It was the same vet tech who did the (LOUD) upselling while the cat cowered in their carrier. We changed vets and went to Animal Kind where it was a completely different experience.

Everyone was exceptionally kind, attentive, and thorough in their care and explanations.

The clinic is very clean and modern, also easily accessible by bus and train. The staff and doctors were kind and attentive. They handled my large, nervous dog incredibly well. All procedures and follow-up care were explained to me clearly, all my questions were answered and I felt like I could trust them with my dog’s health.
