Mike is great, he responded to my website inquiry within a day and came out for a consultation the next dayHe sent over the quote, which felt very reasonable and fair (compared to others, whom were charging a lot more), we then scheduled a visit to do the actual repair, and when he arrived, within 30min, our crank window and lock lever was replaced + working again!!!
I'm not sure if the lack of consideration shown was due to them knowing I was only a tenant in the apartment and not the person who was paying them. They showed up four hours late without ever having told me they were running late, which they didn't even mention let alone apologize. They scraped the paint off the window frame in a 120 year old building, leaving lead paint dust and chips all over my kitchen, then used my broom without asking because their vacuum battery was dead. There is still dust everywhere. The window frame looks like crap, I guess the window they installed is nice... They need a huge training on lead paint if they are going to be doing renovation in older homes, which the majority of apartments in nyc are. Anyway definitely don't hire them if you have kids, are pregnant or ever plan to be, or care about exposure to neurotoxins in your house. Also don't go to a job site without your tools, including those needed for cleanup!
Got about 10 windows replaced last year. One year later no issues. My heating bill decreased. I will definitely hire them to replace next set of windows. Would definitely recommend.
