I used to go every other month even though they acted like I was going to steal. I went to go buy a few items I needed and they proceeded to accuse me of stealing and turned my purse inside out and did not let me leave at all until a good 20 mins later. This place is horrible. Will never go there again

Proximity to home is the upside. The prices are the same or lower in comparison to other beauty supply stores which is why I try to come here first. They have literally everything in this store. It's a beauty supply/discount store with household items for purchase as well. They also have a braiding salon in the back. Multipurpose beauty supply. THE CON is that everything is tapped omg... Understandable that they don't want any theft but to try to use the product that you just bought is a hassle trying to take the tape off to get to your item.

I feel like this store is as good as it can be for the demographic area in which it’s located. I’m from Harlem and have been staying in the Bronx often and the customer service I received is ALWAYS A1. My best most recent interaction took place when a cashier’s English wasn’t that fluent but she went above and beyond to help me and was very patient. The only thing I despise is the fact the products have to be taped because people steal too much. Otherwise I can always find what I need for a great price. The wig section could be cleaner and work on its professionalism.

I went to buy braiding hair , I don’t like going here because a lot of the items are high and they treat you like you’re a thief as soon as you walk in the door but it’s the closest to me. I asked the cashier about the discount sign they had up and she did not know what I was talking about(even after me showing her the signs plain as day, they have multiple) she told me I needed to read them again, that I wasn’t “reading it right” and did not want to get the manager when I requested. When the manager finally Did come he said that the sign stating a discount for using cash was for an old system and that the signs needed to be taken down(I am pretty sure the signs are still up) then he proceeded to ring me up on the register on the right side of the counter prior the other cashier rung me up on the cash register on the left somehow the total on the right was more so if you shop there you might want to use the register on the left.They charge you more then they are suppose to , stealing from customers. I bought 3 packs of braiding hair at $5.99 , why did my total come to $19 and some change. When it was supposed to be around $17.I would not recommend this store they are rude, do not have any idea what customer service is four and treat you like a criminal and the prices are too high, and they act like your less then when they are the ones who are brain cell less.
