This Bronx location was great. From the front desk staff, to the medical assistant, doctor (Frieda), and ultrasound tech, everyone was so kind and professional. There was a wait from my actual appointment time, but it wasn’t horrible and I didn’t wait long for the doctor after I was called in. I got my IUD, which is usually pretty uncomfortable, painful process. Dr. Frieda was so wonderful and supportive and as gentle as possible, talking me through every step to make sure there were no surprises for me. They spread out different parts of the visit so it didn't feel like a horribly long wait. Doctor and nurses were very sweet and supportive. Doctor talked through each step of the procedure so I never felt surprised or uncomfortable.
Got to my 350pm appointment and got seen relatively quickly. Got testing done and was told to wait in the reception area to get called back shortly. I am waiting there for 40 mins, and am currently sitting in a private room alone going on 20 mins at 5:15pm. After asking what's going on and how much longer this will take, they told me to either deal with it or reschedule at the front. I don't even know what they're keeping me here for since I should just be receiving test results on the My Chart App. Being asked to sit around after blood is drawn without explanation, more than 30 mins is ridiculous.
