Callen-Lorde Bronx is a community health center that provides sensitive and quality healthcare to the LGBTQ+ community. They offer services regardless of a patient's ability to pay and focus on health education and wellness. Patients praise the clinic's kind and efficient staff, including the front desk, nurses, and doctors. This place is clean and has a state-of-the-art clinic. The staff are professional and polite. Patients could not be happier with the quality of care this location provides and feel cared for and valued. The clinic has also been commended for its responsiveness and helpfulness.
Medical staff and front desk staff are lovely and friendly. The pharmacy staff is not so nice or friendly. They make me wait to pick up prescriptions that are already filled and ready as they talk amongst each other or on the phone. And they act like it’s an inconvenience that I’m there to pick up prescriptions I filled and ordered ahead of time online. They need staff in the pharmacy that is as nice as the other staff in the building
Shout out to the young man at the front desk, multiple people came in loud and angry because they did not understand the concept of first come first serve and he handled every situation with grace and patience. No one deserves to be yelled at or spoken to the way he was and he didn’t allow others to tarnish his character
Usually a good place but pharmacy is dismissive when you make it clear that a medication is urgent their only goal is to get you off the phone and it’s honestly insulting as a patient at the clinic.
