They redid the entire front landscaping a year ago, and the side just this late summer/fall. Unfortunately this fall, the majority of what was planted died which was odd. “We are very happy about the work that AJR has been providing us. A part of our backyard did not get a lot of sunshine, and lawn was not growing. But, the head of the team gave some suggestions to make trench on the hilly part to catch rain water and have the tree service to cut some branches right above the area. The team put the top soil and seeds about 1 month ago, and now we see healthy lawn. Their service is so much different from our previous landscaper who ignored our back yards after the seeds were washed away after they put seeds. AJR team does touch work for the lawn. “The project that the team did for us in Croton is without a doubt the best investment for our property we have done in many years. We have a steep slope which was covered with invasive. Our way of dealing with it was to cut it down once or twice a year, that didn’t work. The team took a couple of days to clear the area and created a new path down the hill. A few weeks later they were back planting thousands of natives of many sorts.

Now, we can hardly wait for spring to arrive so we can see the slope come to life. And this project is not yet done. My hope it that we can persuade more Crotonites to follow in our footsteps which will help our new natives continue to thrive.
