From the very beginning, our experience with The Dutchess Inn was nothing short of stellar. Before we even arrived, Megan was incredibly patient and thorough in helping me book our stay, answering questions about the area, surrounding things to do, and most importantly, accommodating our large breed dog. Her care felt genuine, not transactional, and that set the tone immediately. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Carrie (I hope I’m spelling that right!) about early check-in and other perks, and she was just as warm and informative.

If you could do 11 stars I’d still want more. Absolutely the nicest folks, the place is spotless, the bed is perfect, the “salon” is so warm and peaceful. The Dutchess is perfect. They also treat your pet like royalty, so 20 out of 10 stars.
Choose the Dutchess if you want A Time Machine to old-time Elegance. The luxury of the Dutchess Inn isn’t found in the polished predictability of rebranded big-box hotels like Hilton or Marriott. Instead, it offers something far more precious: a portal back to the 1920s, when inns were sanctuaries of character and quiet contemplation. The elevator reminds me of my first apartment in Manhattan off Mulberry in 1995; slow enough to remind you that it’s time to take the armor off and pause the monkey brain.
