“I called Dr. Shin because I was having digestive issues. I couldn’t eat. Anything I ate caused bloating and pain in my stomach, which was also causing anxiety. My GI appt was still a week away and I needed relief now. Dr. Shin was very compassionate in hearing my issues. I’m at Bay Terrace all the time. The location is great. It’s so easy to find parking which is always a bonus in Bayside. When I walked in, the office was nice, clean, and inviting. There was calm music playing. Dr. Shin asked me to fill out some forms. She was very thorough in reviewing them and asked me a few questions to gain some clarity on how to help me best. I’ve only done acupuncture a couple of times before, and Dr. Shin seemed more attentive to my issues and thorough. After gently placing the needles, she turned down the lights and checked on me every once in a while to see how I was doing. After my visit, I was able to eat more without pain or anxiety. It felt so good to finally have some relief. I did see my GI specialist after my visit with Dr. Shin and found out I was having an IBS flare. I never had IBS before. I would definitely go back to Dr. Shin again, and would recommend her friends and family.“
