It was the 4th of July holiday and Sam Darling graciously met with us the day after a sudden family death. Three days later he had provided the cremation service, arranged two pastors, a Naval flag presentation, a salute by the local Legion, newspaper notices and an online obituary, helped get us a wheelchair, and we were sitting in the church surrounded by caring friends and family. Dozens of other detailed requests were handled with grace and efficiency. I am an out of town funeral director who needed assistance with a death which occurred in Auburn. I called Sam at Brews to help provide that local assistance. He answered the phone promptly and was very willing to help with my needs. The family members in Auburn were impressed by his punctual arrival at the nursing home at 6 am in the morning. They appreciated the care he extended to them on my behalf. As a colleague in the profession I am always pleased when I find someone who represents my firm and my name well. Brew is beautifully maintained,convenient and has comfortable meeting areas within the home.
Sam is extremely knowledgeable, pleasant to communicate feelings and concerns to get situations taken care of during an emotional time.
