Three days later he had provided the cremation service, arranged two pastors, a Naval flag presentation, a salute by the local Legion, newspaper notices and an online obituary, helped get us a wheelchair, and we were sitting in the church surrounded by caring friends and family. Dozens of other detailed requests were handled with grace and efficiency. Being a local funeral director who knows all the groups and people in our area, unlike the national chains, he could also speed along contact with all the people we needed to involve. Meanwhile, Sam was relaxed, friendly, compassionate, completely transparent about services and costs, (which were very fair), and he brought no pressure to any of our decisions (unlike other funeral directors we have experienced). She explained everything to us from the different stone types to the different shapes and sizes available to us. We were confident once we left that the finished product would be everything we could ask for. She sent a picture of the stone as soon as it was placed. The custom fox cut could not have turned out more beautiful. The Bahama Blue stone was imported so it took a little longer for production, but it was well worth the wait! Thank you Barnett Family!”
