“TL;DR: can’t recommend enough, great work, and a kind, honest person to boot!Long, grateful version I had to share: Joel accommodated my nephew for a walk in haircut and eyebrow trim/shaping ahead of Memorial Day weekend, as everyone was scrambling for that “return to normal” fresh. We had to attend an unexpected, out-of-state funeral, and just needed a presentable shearing, as COVID killed our usual spot. The holiday boom added unforeseen stress, as I eventually pleaded the situation w/shop after shop, but none assisted. We agreed Cutting Zone was the last we’d try, and then just buzz his head for the funeral. We popped over as the phone was busy, and to our surprise & gratitude, Joel immediately worked things around for us, and w/in 10 mins he was in a chair (I still suspect he gave up his lunch break for us)! On top of that lovely kindness, Joel did an amazing job! I expected a rushed but passably respectful result, yet what we got was the best haircut of any place we’ve been! This kid has fluffy hair, and most seemed overwhelmed w/ how to approach it. This gentleman not only knew what to do, he took time and explained it all as he went, and what to ask for should we go back elsewhere. The kicker: when I asked for a product recommendation, he said one HE DIDN’T SELL! How honest is that?! He can’t even make a dime off it, but he told us to go with a choice that was better, rather than make money! I thanked him profusely, and will be taking my family going forward, including myself (he informed me he cuts women’s hair, as well). We needed any available barber, but we found an awesome, permanent “Master Hair Cutter.” Corny as it sounds, this gentleman deserves my continued business & patronage, and probably yours too.Services: Haircut“
“Charlie literally transformed my hair and I couldn’t be happier. My hair has never looked healthier and fuller! Beth is not only entertaining, but gives the most relaxing hair wash I’ve ever had! The entire staff is friendly and I’m never kept waiting! I highly recommend this salon!“

“I found Kai’Mani Designs by Tia on Google and I am so thankful that I did. She was so professional and understanding of my situation and offered me an appointment to get crochet braids much sooner than I thought would be possible.Her shop is clean and inviting and as soon as I met Tia I knew I found my new stylist. She is knowledgeable about all aspects of hair and her talent far exceeds braiding. “Went there yesterday to get box braids and a haircut. The salon is very clean and the women there were very nice and welcoming. They were all professional and for the first time going there I felt comfortable and my experience went well. Martha did my hair and she did an amazing job. “My daughter got married this past weekend at Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa, and I was looking for a hair salon in the area to take care of several of us for two of the events. Stephanie was so helpful in getting all the appointments set up in advance. I needed an updo for Friday night, for a Korean Paebeck ceremony, and Stephanie did a beautiful job on my hair! Everyone absolutely loved it! My guests were thrilled with her and her entire team for both hair and makeup. I wish her salon was closer to where I live in NJ because I would go to her exclusively!!!“
