“I first went to Bovane in 2020, after Covid kept me from my stylist at Deva Salon in NYC. At the time, I made the brave choice to do the big chop—cutting off all the dye and starting fresh with my natural grey. He guided me through every stage, from rocking a Mohawk to now having long, curly, silver hair that I absolutely love.

He’s truly an artist with all hair lengths and textures, and especially with curls. When I felt weak and thought about coloring again, he gently encouraged me to stay the course. Because of that, my hair is now healthier, fuller, and more gorgeous than ever. Each cut grows out beautifully, and I get endless compliments.

On top of his talent, he’s kind, thoughtful, and much more reasonably priced than the NYC salons I used to frequent. He’s the best ever—a rare combination of skill and heart. If you’re looking for someone who will not only style your hair but also help you fall in love with it, he’s the one.

Even though I live in Mexico now, I always make sure to book an appointment with him whenever I’m in New York—that’s how good he is.❤️‍?
