A great family owned business here in Albany! They'll take care of you like family, and really go out of their way to make sure you're not just getting the style you want, but the care your hair needs. I've been going for loc refreshing and styling and have always been satisfied! I had recently had a medical episode mid-appointment and everyone was so kind and helpful, and happily made time to reschedule! Great people and great stylists!

Overall did not have a good experience with my braided. The owner and communication with the owner was great, my braider seem like she just did not care about what I requested and was just free styling. I spoke up a lot and she constantly was just ignoring it and doing whatever she wanted. The style I ended up with wasn’t ugly by no means but was absolutely not what I requested and what they said they were able to do.

Their prices is set $250 and up no matter what the style or if you have your own hair or not I feel like they don't work with you as they right smack in the hood as they should be for the black community and not trying to rob them on price gouging. I came with my own hair, my hair was was washed all I need was crochet and she charged $287 almost $300 to crochet. Us as people need to stop allowing crap to go on in our community like this. They were once better at their prices but now they robbing the community that they allowed to do business in

They quoted me $220 and then reduced it to $200. I had called a few days prior and asked for a quote for straight backs with knotless feedings for my daughter‘s birthday. I also went in for them to look at her hair prior and they still did not quote me they asked me to send a picture to one of their phones of the desired hairstyleso they can replicate. I believe there was a language barrier. The appointment was scheduled for 4 o’clock, and I don’t think they started her hair until five after day two her hair was already freezing towards the ends. I don’t believe they used enough product to tuck in her natural hair into the braiding hair, you can see the frizziness and the curls starting to come out overall don’t think it was worth the Price. They quoted me the style did come out decent, but I don’t think I would go back just because of how much I was quoted for a child’s hairstyle and the professionalism.
