He helped with preliminary troubleshooting to avoid unnecessary travel/cost, travelled quite a way, and efficiently took apart and fixed our HP DesignJet T830 plotter printer. When it was in need of separate/unrelated replacements parts months later he helped troubleshoot over the phone again and we ended up deciding to replace the plotter instead of repair; he even gave me a plethora of valuable information given the decision not to use his repair services if I were to decide to attempt the repair on my own.
