Albany Med EmUrgentCare provides timely medical care for a range of concerns. This urgent care office is the First Choice for many, with a wonderful staff and a wait that is never long. The ladies at the front desk are the best, very friendly, helpful, and great. The medical staff, including the doctors and physician assistants, are professional and extremely kind, handling situations quickly with a lot of care and understanding. Many appreciate the kindness and helpfulness shown.

I went in on a Monday afternoon, about 3PM, and it only took about an hour from the time I walked in the door, to the time I walked out. I filled out a couple of pages of basic paperwork (you'll need your insurance card/info, and your pharmacy info). The front desk lady (I didn't get her name, but she had short brown hair and glasses), was so nice. She was friendly, to the point, and informative about what releases I was signing.

I waited for maybe another 5 minutes after filling out the sheets and paying my copay before my PA came out and got me. Cindy Coons, PA, listened to my concerns, and let me know what tests would be run to diagnose my complaint. She did...read full review

I was there a week ago to have my thumb stitched up. The woman (S Smith) did a great job... minimal discomfort during and she kept me distracted as she worked.
Went back today to have them removed - all healed.
Office staff was pleasant both days.

Amazing experience from front desk to the doctor. I was having a frustrating day after being turned away from another urgent care because they do not accept my insurance, but the kindness from everyone here alone made me feel a little better. I’m used to health visits being long and dreadful but was pleasantly surprised.
