The best way I can describe this practice is that it’s exemplary. My introduction to Dr. Musick came when he correctly diagnosed my cat with an illness four other vets had missed. Instead of paying for ineffective solutions and prolonging my pet’s suffering, I was given the right information to make the best decision. He communicates directly and with genuine compassion.
Since then Dr. Musick has treated six of my dogs and several of my cats. I trust his advice completely and my animals love him.
In addition, this is a very well-run and organized practice. Brandy who handles front office admin couldn’t be quicker or more professional and is a master of communication. Appointments are on time and pricing is fair. The vet techs, too, are wonderful with animals especially Megan who’s been helping my pets for a few years now.
Wingfield Springs used to be my local vet until I moved. Now, I make the 40 minute trek across town to come here simply because I believe Dr. Musick and his team are the best!

When I first took my dog there the staff was sweet and the Dr was nice. My dog is on meds. When it came time to get a refill I asked for a written script and politely asked if I could get a script for a month's worth because this particular med comes in bottles of 50 count. When I came to pick up the script they only gave me the script for a 50 CT. I explained that the pharmacy has no issue breaking bottles and if I could please get it filled for the 60 CT because its more cost efficient to buy every month as oppose to every 3 weeks. They refused because that's not how they do it in house. The front office girl was very rude. They have no compassion or understanding. I was texted and she said I could come get the script if I still wanted it. The vet I was seeing in Reno had no issue writing it for a 60 CT. I thought I'd move my dog somewhere closer, but honestly I'd rather drive into Reno for a more caring and compassionate staff. Wingfield services are also very expensive compared to my previous vet. I was excited to bring my dog to Wingfield because it was highly recommended. Unfortunately, customer service isn't their top priority.
