The atmosphere is serene and comfortable, with cozy service beds and a focus on making every guest feel cared for and at ease. Clients appreciate Sylvia’s attentive approach, which includes listening carefully to individual needs and concerns. She is mindful of sensitivities, such as claustrophobia, ensuring that treatments are accessible and gentle. Her use of reputable skincare brands and extra touches like care packages and emphasis on continuing care add to the personalized experience. My first facial with Sylvia was fantastic! Her room is serene and comfortable, with an extremely cozy service bed and blankets. It's very clear she listens to you, wants you to have a great service, and is very attentive to your comfortability. Her intake form asks whether or not you've dealt with claustrophobia, which is something I do deal with but have never had a service provider ask about or consider. Due to this, she was very mindful of whether or not certain things would be overstimulating and I honestly appreciated this most of all. It speaks to her accessibility for all populations who are trying to engage in self care, even though those services aren't always 100% comfortable for us. Additionally, she utilized breath work, meditation, and energy work during the service which made it feel unique and dual purpose. I loved the spiritual based practice. I also appreciated the extra touches, such as a care package upon leaving and emphasis on continuing care post facial. She also uses incredibly reputable skincare brands. In short, I think that anyone who needs extra love, care, and sensitivity would love a facial from her.
My visit to Sacred Prana Beauty Spa was 10/10. This was my first facial service ever due to the very sensitive nature of my skin but Sylvia was great about inquiring about my skin ahead of time, learning what my daily skincare routine was, and building a customized service around my skin. The service she provided was amazing and thorough consisting of red light therapy and a steamer during the cleansing process, an enzyme mask, minor extractions, high frequency treatment on some active blemishes, toner, aloe, a colloidal mask with added serums for my skin goals, ice globes to help my skin absorb all the good stuff, rose hydrojelly, hydrobalance gel, a peptide cream, and sulfur spot treatment. Afterwards she shared some recommendations for my daily routine to help restore my skin barrier and reduce some of the dryness I experience. The ambiance of her salon was superb; Sylvia asked about starting the session with a guided meditation exercise which helped me to relax right off the bat. She also did an aura cleansing during the service and let me tell you, I walked out not only with my skin looking great but also feeling so relaxed and peaceful. I look forward to another visit.
I highly recommend Sylvia! She creates such an inviting space, with a lot of knowledge! I’ve learned so much about taking care of my skin, and she walks you through the process of her facials! I’m a huge fan and will definitely be back!
