In one sentence.... DO NOT USE Romanoff for any work on your house!I ordered my flooring from Home Depot for my second house and the install was going well. Slow, but well. It was slow because the lead installer would work about 20-30 minutes and go down to his blue truck to smoke for breaks all day long. In the meantime, his apprentice/helper had to prep for the installer's next install and clean up before he came back into the house from his smoke breaks.I can deal with slow and lazy workers, but I can't deal with the last day install (that I didn't notice until they left). They put in the new baseboards in the master bath and how the vent is pushed in and uneven. One side of the baseboard is over the vent and the other side is behind the vent. Sloppy and lazy work. I am guessing a cigarette "was calling him".To top it off, I noticed a couple of months later that the flooring was raising up by our top door. They hadn't properly sealed the floor to the door jam. I called Nicole (my angel) at Home Depot and was informed that she would reach out to Romanoff. I received a call from someone in June (I believe it was a "Jackie") and told her that we would be at the house all or most of July. I sent her the photos as she requested, and she said she would get back to Me. I then got a call from Nicole at Home Depot. She told me that Romanoff called and said that I wouldn't be around so they will not take care of the issue. I called Romanoff back and left a message yesterday that I wanted to schedule time to fix the flooring from an awful install. Guess what? Just like another feedback comment on this yelp from Ted S, Romanoff didn't call Me back either. Today I received a call from Nicole again. Romanoff called Home Depot and told her to call Me and tell Me they no longer work in "that area' (South Lake Tahoe).Nicole told me that their "new" contractors will come fix the flooring. That tells Me, Romanoff was FIRED based on their shotty work performance and other comments on yelp. Thanks to Home Depot for concluding their relationship with Romanoff.May I repeat myself?! .... This company has cancelled our appointment 3 times. Today they showed up and said they can't do the job. We have had our wood floor and carpet sitting here for 4.5 months. I would never use them again. We have asked to store to find another installer. Horrible!!!Service: Flooring

This installation was supposed to take two days . On the second day 4/28 the installer cut his hand so someone was supposed to come out Friday. That was a no show. Rescheduled to Monday, another no show!!! Now I have to work out of town and the first available is rescheduled for 5/10. Meanwhile the house is torn apart and we’ve been sleeping on the couch because all of the furniture is crammed into two bedrooms. This is completely unprofessional and rude. This has turned into a two week nightmare. We should have been made a priority after the the incident on the second day. If I could give zero stars I would. Hire someone else!Service: Install flooring
