I don't normally leave reviews but this place is awful. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! They up and left shop without informing their customers. After a couple of canceled appointments I went in a couple days ago to find the store permanently closed. THEY DID NOT GIVE ANY REFUNDS AND DELETED ALL CONTACT INFO! Sugar spa is now nonexistent and took a lot of money from their customers. Don't ever go here.

I don't write reviews often, but I felt a strong need to share my experience with this business with others. I found this business through Groupon, where they were offering discounted treatment packages. I contacted the business directly and they stated they would honor the Groupon price so I did not have to purchase through Groupon. I purchased two treatment packages from them (six treatments each for a total of 12 treatments) on January 12th. I received one service (out of six services) on February 10th, and the day of my second service (April 21st) I received the following text: "Hi this is sugarmedspa we have to cancel your appointment today. We will call asap to reschedule. We apologize for the inconvenience." I did not hear back from them. So on May 3rd I called and left a message. They still did not contact me. Today I called both numbers listed on google and the calls ended immediately. I then tried visiting their website and the website is down. I then emailed the email account in which I received the text message and it was returned as "undeliverable". After some internet sleuthing, I came across other recent reviews stating that the business no longer exists and is no longer located on 499 W. Plumb Lane. This business charged me $300 dollars for six treatments, and I have only received one treatment to date. They took my money without providing all of the services I paid for and should be held accountable for their actions. Based off of other reviews, I am not the only person they have done this to.

****UPDATE. Like most other people on here, I found out they shut down their business without informing their customers or land lord. No refunds, no nothing. Absolute pieces of sh*t. However, the owner, Allison Marshall, lives in a nice big house in Somerset with BMW's in her driveway at 2525 Whitney Oaks Ln. Also, her personal phone number is (253) 571-8830 if you want to (try) and get a hold of her that way first. FYI, all of this is a matter of public information that was found on white pages. I did not pay for any of this information, so it is by no means illegal to have it posted on here. You're welcome!

If I could give this place negative stars I would! You should be ashamed of yourself as a business owner... alleged business owner I should say!stealing people's money charging for packages and then closing shop and never notifying any of your patients is wrong! lying and saying that you will get a hold of us as soon as possible to reschedule when you have completely left and abandoned the office and it is gutted with no remorse or contact for any of your patients and stole the money never did the services!!!!!

I showed up today for my appointment. I found it suspicious that I hadn't received an appointment confirmation but I went anyways. When I arrived I was so surprised to meet a lady who told me that the people of Sugar Salon and Medical Spa GHOSTED their clients. No refunds no heads up. I had prepaid services that were NOT CHEAP. Just a heads up to everyone, they're gone!

The ladies who run this business are very nice; however that is the only good thing I can say about them. I purchased a Groupon for six laser sessions, which I attempted to redeem. I was able to redeem three sessions but after that it became impossible to get an appointment. My appointments were cancelled 4 or 5 times because their laser was always being "repaired." After almost two months of trying to be seen I am finally giving up on doing any more treatments with them -- it's just not worth the headache. I think the most disappointing thing is I was starting to see results but if you don't keep up with the laser treatments, the hair starts to grow back in -- which it has. I'll have to find somewhere else to continue my services. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this establishment.

They do not answer phones. They do not return voice messages. They simply do not get back to you. I finally ended up stopping by their office and they were closed as of a Tuesday at around 11am even though their door sign said they were supposed to be open. I tried calling again they did not answer. Again. Avoid at all cost. They are terrible. You'll end up *very* frustrated. I don't understand how they are still in business.

To start out, you're lucky if you can talk to an actual human when you call. It usually goes to voicemail and you don't hear back from them for about a week- very frustrating. Once I was finally able to talk to someone I scheduled an appointment. An hour before my appointment they call and leave a voicemail telling me the tech had to leave so I have to reschedule. Again, frustrating but I called back to reschedule. No answer. Left a message and didn't hear back. After about a week of waiting for a call, I then called everyday for about 5 days until someone finally answered the phone. Finally rescheduled, showed up to my appointment 15 minutes early and the office was locked with nobody there. Not a single employee. Waited until 10 minutes after my appointment time and still no one. And I still haven't heard back from them. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Do NOT recommend. If it wasn't for a gift that I received I would not have tried so hard to get into this place. How they're still in business blows my mind.
