We put our 9 mo Labrador Retriever through Taggs 3 week board and train program. Now at 2 weeks post training I can say, it was the best decision for us! Our lab was uncontrollable before training. Walks were terrible, he would pull, lunge and hop at every person and dog we’d see (playfully), he jumped on us & couches, was mouthy, got into everything outside, pestered our cat, basically did whatever he wanted and I felt like I had no control over him. He is very energetic and squirrelly and I just could not keep up. I was at a high point of frustration when I decided to call Ken and inquire about training. I’d spoken to and met a few trainers before which didn’t work out so I had certain expectations. My first impression over the phone met them all. Ken is very knowledgeable in all aspects of dog training, speaks professionally, sounded confident that he could set a good foundation for my pup and offered to always be there if we needed a refresher or further training after. Paperwork, instructions, and communication were easy throughout the whole process. Half way through the B&T we met up at the training center to go over what our pup had learned and received training for ourselves too. When our pup came home, we could see a difference in his behavior immediately. He is doing great at turning off his brain and chilling out, great in the crate, no longer jumps on couches, not running laps in the house, doesn’t bother the cat, we’ve been able to take him on hikes, he’s doing well at ignoring distractions (people/dogs) and our walks are so much better & continue to improve daily! Ken and his crew are great! They really helped set a good foundation for our pup, Branch. We continue to work on his training and are enjoying a less stressful life. 🙂 Happy Dog Mom 🐕
Ken has been so helpful from the start! I asked for a quote online for board and train and he immediately called me the next morning on New Years day! I have been looking to adopt a pup to be an ultra running buddy with me and he went out of his way to call me multiple times and explain the breeds I should be looking for and avoiding. He looked at videos of the doggos I was interested in and helped guide me through the whole process. He has been extremely honest throughout and you can tell her really loves what he does. My pup is currently doing the 3 week program and I am so excited to get her back!
🌟🐾 Taggs Town Family Dog Training Center - Where Manners Meet Wagging Tails! 🐾🌟 I cannot express my gratitude enough to the incredible team at Taggs K9 Dog Training, who worked their magic on our lively 10-month-old American Bully, Dre. Fondly nicknamed "The Freight Train," Dre was a bundle of high energy, constantly roughhousing with his 20lb Frenchie sister, Zoey, and giving us a run for our money with his lack of attention and jumping antics. After careful consideration and interviews with various trainers, we decided to entrust Dre's transformation to Taggs, and oh, what a decision it was! Dre entered the board and train program on 11/6/23, set to return home on 11/27/23. From the moment he stepped back into our lives, it was clear that something magical had happened at Taggs. Dre emerged as a new dog, maintaining his lovable and happy-go-lucky spirit, but now with an added layer of manners and impeccable training. Saying goodbye to the Taggs team was bittersweet, as it was evident that Dre had not only been trained but had also enjoyed every moment of it. The real proof of Taggs' expertise shone through during a visit to Enchant Christmas Paws and Claws just one week after training completion. Amidst hundreds of other dogs, Dre displayed an incredible level of composure, remaining focused on us until given permission to greet others. This was a complete turnaround from his previous behavior of pulling at the leash and dragging us through the park. A massive shoutout to Ken, Thomas, Eric, Simone, and the entire Taggs family for their unwavering dedication and expertise in transforming our "Freight Train" into a well-mannered canine companion. The results speak volumes, and our outings are now a joyous experience thanks to the Taggs touch. To anyone contemplating hiring Taggs for their fur baby, do yourself and your dog a favor – don't hesitate! Ken and the Taggs team are absolute miracle workers, and their passion for transforming "savages" into well-behaved companions is unparalleled. Your dog will thank you, and you'll thank Taggs for a lifetime of wagging tails and happy adventures! 🌈🐕🎉
