“I came in with just an idea and bastion was able to curate a perfect tattoo with all of my ideas and likes. The environment of the shop was clean and very welcoming. All of the artist there were very talented and willing to work with you. Overall it was an amazing experience…and my tattoo turned out to be my favorite piece on my body thus far. We went for a very realistic gothic style and fortunately for me that was my artists specialty. Not only do I rate my artist bastion 1000/10 but also rate the shop the same. I received a tattoo from Sean on August 1. First, I want to say how clean and professional the studio is. They have look books on the counter, they are all little out of date, according to the artist who was greeting customers. However, she pulled out her phone and showed examples of all the artists' work. She was awesome and helped me pick the right artist for me, even if it wasn't her.

When I came in last year, she directed me to Sean, as he had both an opening and the skill to complete my idea. So, Sean gave me a tattoo last year, and when I got the hankering again, I came directly back to Black Harbor and Sean.

When my first idea was WAY too complicated, he worked with me to create something extraordinary. He was quick and meticulous. My girl is so, so, beautiful and I get compliments EVERY DAY!

I live in Sacramento and I will always come back to this studio to get more art. I even dragged me husband here because I was tired of him bitching about wanting more ink. He's got an appointment with Shane, another incredible artist working here. I could not recommend getting a tattoo anywhere else more after my experience here.“

“Best shop in town. The guys are so personable attentive and really listen to what you want. Ghost is not heavy handed and very quick and efficient. Minimal peeling and quickest healing tattoos I've ever gotten. Prices are better then the other couple of snooty shops in town and you get treated like you actually matter .
