RUN, RUN, RUN!!! These people are horrible and don’t know what the hell they are doing!!! First they can’t do carpet at all, second we had them do tile around our fireplace and 3 months later this is what it still looks like also it’s so bad we have to have them tear it all out. Sid is the worst he lies he’s rude and when I asked him why they offer something they clearly can’t do Sid came back with ohhhh I didn’t know you wanted a custom job SMH no Sid we want the crap job like you gave us. Do not do business with this company!!!!! Don’t get me started on the mess they left in our backyard for over two months. I wanted to give no stars but it’s not an option!!!

We went to several flooring places around town, looking to replace the flooring in our new construction home. Sid and Ivette were great and answered all of our questions! They took the time to pull samples based on our preferences. Scheduling was easy and the crew was fast and efficient! There was some finishing work we asked them to address and Sid quickly problem solved with us. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

The crew showed up in an old beater truck. They did not speak english, one of them knew a couple words. I had to pantomime everything. No shoe coverings to protect the new carpet. Their furniture moving skills were almost acceptable even though all of the drawers had been taken out, so the pieces were not very heavy. The clean up after the work was below average leaving some glue and and carpet shrapnel around. Never received a call from Sid, the salesman making sure things were going smoothly. The crew did a good job of actually laying the carpet though.

Sid and his team did an absolutely incredible job on the tiling of the floor of my bedroom. There was other work done in the house by another company which was very poor, wow they did amazing. From start to finish Sid was easy to work with, responsive, the price was very reasonable and was completed more than satisfactory! I will not hesitate to call them again or recommend to other people!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I SINCERELY wish that all these bad reviews would negatively impact their business as their business has impacted my life. Our condominium complex experienced water damage due to tree roots penetrating the water main line. This happened in January and the repairs are still not done. Yack construction recommended The Flooring Center on Pecos (see Yack Construction reviews). They told me to rush down to pick out my flooring, so I did (mind you they have very limited hours). This was in April. It is June and the job is still not completed. So I called to find out why. They said they just got the flooring ordered. So I called the Flooring Center, Sid said, part of it was Flooring Center's fault for losing my order and half due to Yack construction for not submitting the "approval".

I've purchased carpet from the Flooring Center since 2001! Their prices r reasonable and the quality is excellent! Going forward 2023 i was remodeling my home and I needed to coordinate the painting and installation of carpets. They came and demoed the existing carpet and padding and then came back to install the carpet AFTER the painters were finished. Highly recommend this company!

The people we worked with were nice, so I do want to note that. Our entire house had to get floored and these guys did it. The initial install was alright except I noticed a few tiles under a lot of tension. I was told not to worry about it, but then the tile snapped under the tension a few weeks later. We’ve also had other spots that are buckling up now as pictured. It took months to just get them to come out and look. Then a couple months for them to order the replacement planks and then once they came back out they determined they ordered the wrong stuff. So a lot of time wasted for them to attempt to glue down the spots, which was not largely successful. I wouldn’t expect to have to call a flooring place out about a half dozen times to inspect and fix their work just two years after install.

I had my master bedroom, bathroom and closet flooded. It took forever to find flooring or the right place/people to get it done by. I came in here and let me say they made the process easy and seamless. Thank you so much to Ivette and Sid! I appreciate it. This is the place to get your floors done for an amazing price.
