Pecos-Russell Animal Hospital - TEMPORARILY CLOSED

Pecos-Russell Animal Hospital was a beloved veterinary practice run by Dr. Paula Paetz and her staff, including Dr. Zacagino, who retired after decades of service. The hospital provided excellent care for pets, with lower fees compared to other vets. Many clients appreciated the kind and patient approach of Dr. Paetz, praising her skill in handling everything from routine care and vaccinations to surgical procedures. However, in recent years, the hospital faced challenges, becoming severely understaffed and only operating three days a week. As of April 2023, the practice has permanently closed, leaving many pet owners saddened by the loss of a place they trusted for their furry companions. There is hope that it may reopen under new ownership in the future.
