About Makeshift Union Hair Salon
Makeshift Union is a hair salon established in Las Vegas in 2016 that prioritizes client satisfaction. They offer high-quality haircuts, styling, and coloring in a welcoming environment that encourages collaboration between stylists and clients. The vibes of the salon are described as modern, edgy, and effortlessly cool, creating a buzzing atmosphere filled with talent and style. The staff at Makeshift Union is known for being friendly and helpful. The owner, Larry, is a veteran stylist with over 20 years of experience. He is recognized for his biker tough persona, but quickly proves to be knowledgeable and laidback, making clients feel like VIPs from the moment they arrive. One satisfied client recommends stylist Avery for her expertise in hairdressing. After a detailed consultation, Avery successfully transformed the client's hair with full highlights and a color correction that achieved a flawless lived-in blonde look. Another popular stylist is Crystal, who has taken great care of her clients, ensuring they receive haircuts that suit them perfectly. She is known for her attention to detail and for walking clients through each step of the process. The salon staff is also careful with allergies, and Larry offers his own line of products in-store. Makeshift Union provides hot towel treatments, beer, and head washes/rubs, making it a favored destination for those seeking high-quality service in a relaxed atmosphere. While walk-ins are accepted, it is recommended to make an appointment to ensure a spot on the schedule.
We went here looking for a wave style haircut for my 20yo son and Owen gave him the BEST haircut he’s had in years. He left the exact amount of hair on the sides and longer layers in the top and front. He was awesome and the place has a really cool vibe. We will 100% be back here any time we can get to Vegas and he would be worth the two day drive from Washington State! Thanks Owen !
Amazing
Love this place. I've been going there since they were down on main Street in the arts district. Even though they moved to the complete opposite side of town. It's still worth it for me to go here. Their service is amazing. The people are amazing. And I love the aesthetics. I can't recommend this place enough no matter what side of town you live on. No matter how far away it is, it's entirely worth it to go
