I was at Hudson Family Dentist in December 2025 for a cleaning. I had been there a few years ago for cleaning but I didn't have any insurance. So in Dec 2025 I had my teeth cleaned and an exam because I finally had insurance through Medicare. I was told I had periodontal disease. Mind you in the past 10 months I have been seeing a Prosthodonist ( they have an extra 3 years of education and restore teeth that a general dentist would not have the knowledge to do) and I have had in total 15 new crowns done.( I also went to school to become a Dental Assistant.) I booked an appt to get another cleaning with Hudson for 3 months later. The day of the cleaning I received a text from their office that I would have to pay $180 for a periodontal treatment. I told them no I don't want to do that because I don't need it. So they insisted they would only see me if I had deep scaling done on my gums so they cancelled my appointment saying that I had gum disease and bone loss.They said I needed #14 and #15, lower left 19-21 and full quad lower right. So today I went to my Prosthodonist and had a cleaning and gum pockets checked. She showed me my xrays and said I have good bones no bone loss and my gum pockets are 1's, 2's and a couple of 3's. My Prosthodonist told me I DO NOT have periodontal disease or bone loss.So be careful if you have insurance!! IT'S NOT NECESSARY TO DO A PERIODONTAL TREATMENT UNTIL YOUR GUMS ARE AT 4'S AND ABOVE!! So because I have insurance now, they wanted to take advantage of my insurance and bill them for an unnecessary gum treatment that could do harm to my gums and teeth. If they tell you you need gum treatment or you have periodontal disease, get a second opinion!!!! Oh and they sent me a letter that they don't want to treat me anymore going forward...lol. I guess they don't like people that have some experience in the dental field...lol

My first impression with Hudson Family Dental was a positive one. Admittedly I am very apprehensive when it comes to dental care. However, the office is clean and welcoming. Everyone I encountered was friendly and professional. My hygienist Janice did an excellent job! She was very thorough and gentle, she took time to answer questions and explain technique improvements. You can definitely tell she takes pride in her work. Dr Hudson, is very approachable. He calmly answered questions and made recommendations, without pressure. Relatively new to Las Vegas, I feel confident I found my dentist office.

Dr. Hudson and his team are amazing! They’re friendly, attentive and most importantly for me, they know what they’re doing. Dr. Hudson is meticulous, efficient and caring in the way he works and keeps me updated with what he’s doing (I’ve had several procedures done). He and his team work like a well-oiled machine.
A few days ago, I had an old crown fall off and the team made time to take care of me. It had to be replaced altogether and I had travel plans. Dr. Hudson was great and worked with me on so many levels. I was able to take a deep breath. From Stacy at the front desk, to dental assistants like Jenn and Thomas to Bree in billing, I love this team. We will not go anywhere else!

Friendly and efficient staff, hygienist, and dentist. Although I live 30 minutes away and my insurance is not accepted here, I still go because Hudson Dental Office has been my favorite of all time.

They got my Dad in a few hours after I called. Everyone in the office was so kind and helpful. Dr Hudson took the time to speak to my Dad about all of his options and answered all of our questions. He wasn't rushed and made us feel so comfortable. Its rare to find a dental office where you have such a positive experience from start to finish. My Dad will be having his procedure here next week. And I will be scheduling an appointment for myself as soon as possible!

Dr. Hudson and his staff were the utmost professional team I have encountered in Las Vegas. They were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in their interactions with me.
