The spa here at one time was wonderful and customer experience mattered. I had a bad experience with a guest in the spa who had his phone blasting on FaceTime. I simply asked him to turn it off and he got hostile.

I shouldn’t be the one paying $500 for a spa service and be the one enforcing the rules. What was such a good experience some years ago. Save your money and go to a spa that values your experience.

I love staying at MGM grand and have visited this spa on three separate occasions and all three have been poor experiences. The first was booked for a normal massage, went to check in for my appointment and did not get a tour of the facilities and there were no options for amenities because everything was down for cleaning. My second experience the spa was wonderful but the ladies working the facility had a horrible attitude were loudly complaining about their jobs and being rude to customers including scolding me for getting a second cup of tea when I already had one but didn’t like the flavor. It was a cheap bagged tea not anything fancy or costly. The third experience I was there for a salon visit the spa desk checked me in but the salon wasn’t open yet so the front desk lady showed me inside to the spa wait area for a chair and a coffee and some other worker came in started giving me a hard time for not being in a robe, when I explained i was there for a different service she started screaming at me threatening to call security, when I politely explained I was told to go there and offered to go to the front desk with her to sort out the miss communication she swore at me and stormed away. Overall I think the facilities are just ok, the staffing/management has some issues and the services are overpriced for what you get especially when none of my experiences have been what I would have expected. Now I stay at this hotel but uber to other MGM property spas when I want a treatment.

Due to renovations going on at the spa I chose the mobile service. Shontih gave me to best massage I have ever had. Truly! Excellent pressure when needed, yet everything about her technique was gentle and calming. Being a former massage therapist, it is hard not to be too critical. When I say I have zero negative comments I truly mean zero negative comments.

They charge a 20% gratuity, they will take your cash tip without telling you, ladies were nice but they kind of rush it and will gladly take tips knowing they already have 20% added automatically.

I do not recommend this place due to the dismissive and unconcerned staff. I waited 20 minutes, and although I heard my name called, it was later said that it wasn’t my name, and the staff confused me with someone else, so I wasn’t provided service. They tried to reschedule, but it did not fit my schedule, and they did not make any other accommodations. I do not recommend these people. They do not respect African-American. If I hadn’t approached them to say anything, nothing would have been done, and I would still have been sitting there waiting. Do better!

Outstanding experience at the MGM Grand spa. As someone who leans/hunches all day for work, my massage therapist Aubrey took the extra time to workout pressure points and guided me through this deep tissue release. Could not be happier with my overall experience. Clean, professional, and going above and beyond. Highly recommend!

We visited as part of a wedding celebration. One of the ladies got injured coming out of the hot tub.. she immediately requested a band aid from the staff. They were unable to provide one. Apparently there is no first aid kit in site and if I jured they have to call security. Nobody ever showed up and we stayed for a good 45 minutes after. My mind was blown that a simple band aid could not be located in a spa environment. Safety first I thought was all business moto.. OSHA needs to do an inspection.

This was far from a good experience. Got a couples massage and it was just ok. Expected more for the crazy price at a 4.5 star resort. The. They let us use the spa. Saunas were nice. Hot tub had a huge amount of sand in the bottom and at least a quarter inch of grime on the tiles. Really disgusting. Seemed obvious that it wasn't actually being cleaned.

I got married in Vegas, and for simplicity I chose to use the MGM salon for my hair and wedding makeup, as we stayed in the MGM Grand. I was nervous, because it was difficult to find hair and makeup pictures from the beauty team.
Miss Kat was a freaking rock star! She absolutely nailed both my hair and makeup, and was a delight to talk to! If you need event styling, please go see her! Kat absolutely crushed both parts of my look- my groom couldn't stop staring at me!

Stayed at the MGM Grand for a couple of weeknights in April. Wanted to go the gym soon after check-in but was told it closes at 6. Also takes a while to get there from the upper floors of the MGM Tower. Went around noon the next day and it was pretty busy. Able to find space, and use machines/weights as and when they became available. Not a great gym but it suffices for a short trip. You can tell that the weights and mats are pretty old.
