I can't say enough great things about Genesis Lifestyle Medicine and the staff that work there, both in Henderson and Las Vegas. I first met Sapphire and she provided me a CoolSculpting consultation. She was so personable and informative...I signed up for treatment right there. On the day of my appointment, she put me at ease and did the entire procedure which took a while. We talked throughout the day and she was a lot of fun and explained everything that was going on. I always looked forward to the follow-up because I got to see Sapphire and the rest of the staff as they all were so helpful and caring. After that, I have decided to continue with other services they offer. My next service I met Ashten. She was AMAZING at taking my blood for bloodwork and administering my weekly injections. She is also very fun and knowledgeable. The entire staff is awesome! I am a customer for life. Thank you Genesis Lifestyle Medicine for improving my overall health and wellness.

Today, I was greeted by a manager named Lamari. She reminded me of customer service at the front desk when I visit my patients at detention centers. Lamari informed me that since I arrived early for my appointment, I should avoid doing that in the future, as I would not be seen and she might have to deny me service. Mind you, I came in solely for a semaglutide shot, which is quite simple.
I asked for my favorite person, Heshmu, but he was not available. To make matters worse, Lamari was the one who administered my shot. I looked at the needle and asked her how many units she had given me, and she said 50. I feel like I was shorted because I always get 2.5 mg. Additionally, I paid for the bottle myself, and I have no idea if she used my bottle or something else. I've been on this treatment for two years without any side effects. After she gave me the shot, my stomach and head started to feel like I was having a bad migraine. I will never go to her again.
I'm determined to complete what I've paid for and then switch to Trimbody, where I'll be welcomed and won't have to worry about appointments. They are fantastic to work with. I also refuse to return to this place without the clinical director, Hesmidu. It’s worth noting that when I visited, there were no clients, so I’m unsure why she had such an attitude.
While I wanted to confront her, I decided to hold my tongue, considering myself a licensed clinical social worker. Beware of Lamari: if you arrive early for your appointment, she may give you an unpleasant attitude and warn you that you should call ahead, as she reserves the right to deny you services. I’m going to finish what I paid for, even though I’m uncertain about what she administered, because that was certainly not the 2.5 of semaglutide I expected. Lamari also tried to act tough in front of her staff. It’s wild.
As an entrepreneur, I enjoy visiting various businesses to find and promote the best services. So, please take my advice: be ware of Manager Lamari.
