About Crossroads of Southern Nevada
Crossroads of Southern Nevada is a Substance Abuse Treatment Center that focuses on helping individuals address mental health and substance abuse challenges. The center offers a range of services, including medically assisted detox, psychiatric urgent care, a full on-site medical clinic, residential and outpatient clinic options, and long-term housing. Crossroads accepts all major insurances as well as Nevada Medicaid and prioritizes treating individuals in need, regardless of bed availability. The center employs a team of staff who are often recovering addicts themselves, providing a unique perspective and support system for those seeking help. Clients praise the staff's dedication and the sense of family they experience at Crossroads. While the center strives to create a supportive environment, some individuals have expressed concerns about the amenities and procedures during their stay. The detox process involves spending time outdoors, regardless of weather conditions, which some find uncomfortable. Clients are required to surrender their personal belongings, including clothing, upon arrival and wear provided medical scrubs. Additionally, some individuals have noted the lack of comfort in the shared accommodations, such as the absence of pillows. Despite these observations, Crossroads remains a valuable resource for those struggling with addiction, offering a path towards recovery and a brighter future.
