I have been a loyal client of Canyon Ranch for a while now, booking a facial here on just about every trip to Las Vegas and always adding the Dermaflash service. Sadly, my experience this past Thursday was absolutely horrific and has left me hesitant to ever return.
I booked a lifting collagen facial with a Dermaflash add-on. I believe the esthetician's name was Selena. Right away, I let her know that my face was feeling a bit dry that day, likely due to travel. Instead of adjusting her technique, she used an entirely inappropriate amount of pressure with the Dermaflash. She seemed incredibly rushed, and she pressed so hard that I could literally feel the cuts happening on my face in real-time.
Because the Dermaflash was the very first step, the rest of the facial was pure agony. She proceeded to apply active products directly onto raw, open cuts. I was so shocked and upset that I froze, and I am incredibly angry at myself for not speaking up and stopping the service right then and there.
To make matters worse, this was my birthday trip. That evening (Thursday) was my actual birthday dinner, and I was in too much pain to even put on makeup. My face was completely ruined for my celebration. The attached photos were taken a few days later, showing that the deep scratches and cuts are still highly visible.
While I did contact management and they refunded the entire service and provided two spa amenity passes, the physical and emotional damage was already done. Getting cut up during what is supposed to be a luxury, healing treatment is completely unacceptable. If you book here, please beware of who is handling your skin.

Speaking for my wife, she had the coconut oil massage and said it’s probably her favorite massage ever.

Best spa in Vegas!
The level of customer service is the highest here out of any spa I've been to. I've gotten the day pass and just hung out here the whole time. It's so very relaxing!

I was in LV for vacation and wanted to treat myself to a few hours of relaxation at the spa/salon. I took a chance and booked a haircut. I had the good fortune of getting my hair cut and styled by Griselda. I have thick, sleek Asian hair that some stylists may have trouble with. However, Griselda is very familiar with Asian hair and teaches hairdressing. I could tell she was a true professional. She checked in frequently and put me at ease. The whole experience was amazing! Thank you!

DO NOT STAY HIDDEN FEES. Booked three massages and confirmed with the staff from canyon ranch that I would receive a discount on the services which is listed on the website. Then when I arrived they tried to pretend they did not know what the discount was even though it is listed on the website. They refused to honor what they told me on the phone. Also charged 35 dollar fee for “the staff” that was also not explained to me when I made the booking. For such an expensive place they should be more forthcoming about what they charge.

I booked a haircut and had access to the spa from 8-8pm. AMAZING. Every detail has been well thought out with your comfort. Staff- wonderful I would go to Vegas just to go to Canyon Ranch Spa. My haircut was perfect. I spent about $220 and left feeling like I had a $650 spa day.

Had a wonderful experience at Canyon Ranch! From the moment I walked in, the place was immaculate — seriously pristine. They have such a variety of rooms and experiences to choose from, which I loved.
Macy, who checked me in, was so warm and welcoming. My technician Letticia was fantastic — really took great care of me. I came with a group of friends and we had a blast, though we did get a gentle reminder to keep it down (fair enough — we may have been giggling a little too hard after I accidentally pulled a cord in one of the arctic rooms and got hit with cold water... definitely did not want wet hair!). Totally understandable, and honestly a sign that they care about all their guests' experience.
Overall, a great place to relax and recharge. Highly recommend!

Massage was just ok, not worth it for the high price. And why is tip charged before I even get the massage? What granted the 2 stars was the unfriendly staff at the reception.
