When my AC and furnace needed replacing, I did my research and read that, while service contracts are generally a bad idea (see car repair contracts), AC/furnace service contracts are a good investment. I've been a VIP member ever since Ambient Edge installed the new system. I have them change the filters every three months. In the spring, they also clean and inspect the AC. In the fall, they also check the furnace. My most recent technician, Jaime was efficient, friendly and pointed out something I hadn't noticed. I'll be requesting him for my fall filter change and furnace inspection.
