If I could give 10 stars I would! I requested quotes from three companies. Carson Valley Heating got back to me immediately. That was a Thursday and Kolt came by on the following Monday and spent time figuring out the best solution to adding a min-split to a challenging custom home. I received a very reasonable quote within a week. Their electrician is the best I have EVER dealt with in my life! That guy (Degenspark Electric from Minden) came out on day one and had the job DONE on day 2 for a VERY reasonable price. The work was outstanding. Great service. Replaced our whole HVAC system and gave a very reasonable price. Super friendly even though they have had to come out a few times due to electrical and faulty part issues. None their fault. Could not recommend them more.
Carson Valley Heating recently installed a new smart thermostat at our home. The work was efficient, professional, and with a nice and welcome tutorial of how the thing works. Compared to market prices of these items, I thought that what I paid (with installation) was a good value. Defining scope of work was also important, as I was also interested in an inspection of our gas fire place unit. It wasn't until the service guy showed up that I learned that this was a job for a related contractor. That word was completed successfully a few weeks later by Fireplace Service and Repair of Nevada.
