Pete's fine food hot table and general review! This grocery store/market is simply beautiful, clean and fun. I've always been treated with kindness and really enjoy browsing every nook in this place. Hot table 101! (Heating of items done on the spot) Chicken pot pie $5.99 is delicious! The pastry is flaky and filling has a lovely herb, light oregano flavour, nice pieces of chicken, Potatoe, celery can be seen. Ginger beef-small box approximately $10 (slightly pricey for a quick lunch and could be served with plain rice) Very good, saucy and tender! Mexican rice-small container $4-5 I was pleasantly surprised with the delicious tomato, pepper and onion flavours.
Was in town for my daughter’s graduation from Dalhousie. Rushed out in the morning to get her flowers prior to the ceremony, lady at the florist was super helpful and friendly. She put the flowers in a temporary vase with water, so helpful as this kept the flowers fresh throughout the ceremony.
