The Dalhousie Family Medicine Spryfield Medical Center provides thorough and caring medical attention. The dedicated doctors are committed to ensuring patients feel safe and supported, even on weekends. However, scheduling an appointment can be frustrating due to the lengthy hold times and repetitive message. Despite this, the medical care is excellent, and patients appreciate the kindness and expertise of the doctors, including Dr. Marcott and Dr. Horrey. The staff, including the nurses and phlebotomists, are described as kind, professional, and efficient, making the process relatively pain-free. Patients often do their blood collection at the clinic and feel the care they receive is exceptional, despite some Canadians' legitimate complaints about the healthcare system. While some patients have had issues with long wait times when trying to book appointments, others, like those seeing Dr. Horrey, have had very positive experiences and consider her the "best doctor a person can have," as she goes above and beyond to address their concerns.
I've been coming to this clinic for 3yrs and every experience has been excellent. Sometimes yes it can be hard getting through on the phone but what place isn't. Always kind and on time, not to mention very professional. My current doctor is Dr Green, she's top notch.
This is the clinic of my Nurse Practitioner, Dr Sonya Marcott. The staff here are all kind, professional, and efficient.
My worst experience in over three years was a miscommunication, which led to an hour delay and, frankly, if I'd spoken up a second time sooner, the wait would've much shorter. Plus, everyone was extremely sorry when we discovered the issue and they took care of everything for me immediately.
Dr Marcott's students love her and request additional placements with her, which speaks volumes to me of her diligence as a mentor and doctor.

3 stars instead of 5 because Dr.McNeil is amazing, but I can never seem to actually see her or any doctor for that matter. Calling to book an appointment is the thing I dread the most as I’ll wait on hold listening to crap piano music, over 2 hours on hold! And nobody picks up. And this is EVERY time I try to call. Nobody picks up, and ofc I don’t have all day to be on the phone so I hang up
