Had a hard drive fail and lost hundreds of precious photos. George was a huge help - even offered to meet me when the store was closed. He gave me an accurate quote and likelihood of retrieval, then a few days later had all of my files back for a very reasonable price. Extremely happy - hope I never need his services again but if I lose more data, this is where I'll be coming. 10/10

I , an idiot, kept years of my landscape photography on an old platter hard drive. These photos are basically my life’s work. It’s hard to describe how important they are.
I let my cloud backup solution expire … oh yes I’ll renew it…. well no I didn’t… and what do you know it my hard drive died. Completely foreseeable, the drive was over ten years old.
Thinking it must be a simple PCB failure and seeing good review on the HD Cafe online I brought it in for George to look at it.
Long story short, he kept me updated on the progress which in the end had to go to a lab in Ontario.. a full clean room, replacement... read full review

Went to geek squad first about retrieving corrupted footage, they were absolutely useless, all they do there is help ppl with their iPads. George at hard drive cafe only needed a couple days and got all my footage back, more than 200 gbs. Cannot recommend enough. DO NOT waste your time at geek squad just go to Hard Drive Café ?
