Stopped in here with my partner some weeks back and forgot to leave a review about what a wonderful time we had! We weren't sure what the vibe would be because it was a little hole in the wall sort of location, but the shop is a pristine and beautiful wonderland. So organized and clean, and every rock is shown to its best advantage.
Besides the stellar selection that has a price point and a special piece for everyone, the owner was SO lovely. I was asking him what I'm sure were some truly stupid questions about rocks, but he was incredibly kind and explained in terms I could actually understand, which I always think is the mark of someone... read full review
My partner and I stopped in here on our vacation, since we're both big on rocks. We adored it! Definitely worth driving out to this unassuming corner of Dartmouth. The owner was so welcoming and kind, and such a treasure trove of knowledge - it was such a treat having someone to ask all our many burning rock questions. Great vibes and gorgeous specimens from all over the world, including plenty of beautiful local amethyst and agate I couldn't resist. I can't stop staring at these.
Super cool shop, came with my boyfriend and I am a super huge fossil nerd looking to add onto my collection. Came and they had all sorts of super cool specimens, from ammonites to spinosaurus and megalodon teeth, and even DINOSAUR POOP! So freaking cool! And everything was very high quality.
Doug at the counter was so kind and personable, ended up getting a megalodon specimen and my boyfriend got me a trilobite. Also bonus points for having METERORITES which my boyfriend also got one for himself.
Overall awesome shop and great staff, I will be coming here again!!!
