Not great customer service if you aren’t familiar with how they operate their business. Just left the parking lot, they would not come to door and would not answer the phone, called twice, we could see them just standing there. Like to shop local but are now heading to Staples to buy the charge cord we were hoping to buy there.

I went to see Jason with an issue I couldn’t figure out myself. I was a little rattled when I went in and in his usual calm and precise manner, Jason fixed the issue. He goes far beyond the standard of customer service. I think we are very lucky to have him here in Berwick. I highly recommend GekkoTech!

I drove 200 km there and 200 km back home to get my MacBook Pro repaired by Jason at GekkoTech. It was worth it. I tried unsuccessfully to get local authorized Mac repair outlets, including the official Apple Store in town, to work with me. I run a consulting business. I don't have a back-up computer so I can't leave my laptop in an open service status for 10 - 14 days. They were not willing to come up with a reasonable solution that would work so that I wasn't down and without a computer for that long. All I needed was some of the key caps replaced. Jason heard me out, came up with an elegant solution, ordered the parts ahead of time, and I drove 2 hours to Berwick so that he could do the job in 15 minutes. That's what the word "service" means, especially when you're working to serve other small businesses.
