Princess Nails does a nice job with painting, gel nails etc. They are priced at the typical going rate for nails. They have updated their chairs and facilities. They have now started taking appointments for Manis and pedis. There were only 2 of them working on the day I went and they both rotated between 4 people. The pedi took about 45 mins. I enjoyed the message chair. I am rating a 4 due to no pedi liner between clients. I think a liner better insures a clean bowl between bowl usage. I did not notice a pedi bowl sanitization between customers. I will say, they may use some kind of sanitizer when soaking the feet. **CALL FOR APPOINTMENT AHEAD OF TIME** Had a busted up nail from a bad nail salon in LA and didn't want to go natural to start all over. I want pretty nails so the solution was to gel them and have the manicurist mend it. They have plenty of colors to choose from and everyones mani and pedi looked very pretty! I'll do THAT next time. I'm pleased with the results. It isn't perfect but it's way better than anything I've had in a long time. $30.95 gel manicure (tip not included) Gel is the way to go when you're always cleaning and washing so it stays nice longer. I just moved to Taos from the SF Bay area. My nails were a disgrace as it had been a long time since having them done. I read many, many, many reviews for many nail salons and, to tell you the truth, I did not know where to go because I found over-all reviews to be very discouraging. I finally came to the realization that people come from many different angles and each person is looking for their own style of nail care.
